A Taste of What You'll Do
At GALLO, we believe that great wine starts with great science. We're looking for a passionate and skilled Chemist to join our world-class analytical team, where your expertise will directly influence the quality of products enjoyed by people around the globe.
In this role, you'll perform advanced chemical, physical, and sensory analysis across a wide range of materials — from grapes and wines to water and incoming ingredients — using cutting-edge instrumentation including GC-MS, LC-MS, ICP-OES, and infrared analyzers. You'll be trusted to develop and validate new analytical methods, troubleshoot complex data, and ensure every result we deliver is accurate, timely, and legally defensible. Your work won't just live in a lab — it will shape decisions across production, winemaking, compliance, and innovation teams throughout our organization.
We're looking for someone who thrives both independently and collaboratively. You'll mentor interns and technicians, contribute to our ISO 17025-compliant quality management system, and play an active role in continuous improvement initiatives including corrective action, control charting, and internal auditing. When something looks off in the data, you're the kind of person who doesn't just flag it — you dig in, find the root cause, and drive the fix.
We welcome applicants from all backgrounds who bring curiosity, precision, and a genuine love of science to their work. Whether you're a seasoned analytical chemist or a rising expert ready to take the next step, GALLO offers a collaborative, inclusive environment where diverse perspectives make our science stronger.
