If so, this role is for you! As a Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for supporting both the Sales and Operations departments, as well as their goals of driving sales growth. You'll oversee proprietary technology sales while managing current accounts and expanding our customer base.
What You Will Do
- Responsible for execution of ingredient drying technologies sales plan.
- Oversees creation of commercial quality dried products.
- Maintains business relationships and executes selling techniques that will increase the sale of proprietary equipment, equipment parts and in-house drying services.
- Assesses market data, leverages pricing models, and makes pricing recommendations.
What You Need
- High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate.
- Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- Required to maintain 3 shifts availability; expected to work graveyard shifts when necessary.
- Required to lift and move drums of product or equipment that weigh up to 55 pounds.
- Required to possess color vision and depth perception.
- Experience working in a regulatory environment.
- Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
- Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
What Will Set You Apart
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, plus 4 years of experience in technical ingredient sales or application development reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- Knowledge of chemistry, drying carriers, engineering, and drying techniques.
- Strong instrument troubleshooting, maintenance and repair skills.
Compensation:
- Hiring Salary Range Posted: $98,000 - $147,000 / year.
- Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
