Summary

The Reliability Maintenance Engineer will support the development of reliability maintenance standards, and drive implementation of the planned and precision maintenance activities for all assigned assets, at the site, and be the department champion for ass Reliability Maintenance standards. The Planned and Precision maintenance activities will include development of preventative maintenance procedures for identified functional failures of mechanical, electrical, and utility assets, documenting maintenance and work standards, and making recommendation for appropriate storeroom stock levels, and early project management support. Serves as the technical liaison offering recommendations/proposals in successfully carrying-out organizational initiatives.

 

Duties:

  • Provide critical support for the reliability maintenance program that will standardize, improve, and sustain equipment up time across multiple departments/plants and gain alignment with Operations and Maintenance departments with best practices.
  • Support the FMEA program that will be used to analyze equipment designs, for potential design changes, and to develop equipment strategies.
  • Responsible for recommending, presenting and documenting approved iterations of the Equipment Maintenance Plan (EMP), and loads into the SAP.
  • Investigates and identifies business drivers using advanced statistical techniques as well as integration of competitive information.
  • Responsible for supporting the PM Optimization program.
  • Review and recommend optimization strategies for PM schedules and tasks.
  • Recommend improvements for RCM/Maintenance/Operation processes, technology improvements or modifications for equipment centers.

Qualifications

•    Bachelor of Science degree plus 4 years of industrial maintenance, new equipment development, technical maintenance, or electrical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR
•    High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 8 years of industrial maintenance, product development, full-cycle project management, or technical maintenance or electrical experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
•    Demonstrated successful completion of a project.
•    Skilled in the use of MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS PowerPoint at an intermediate level.
•    Experience with the use of SAP.
•    Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
•    Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

Compensation:

  • Hiring Salary Range Posted: $80,190 - $120,330 / year
  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
