Are you a tech-savvy problem solver with a passion for security systems and innovation? Join our team as a Physical Security Tech, where you’ll play a crucial role in designing, installing, maintaining, and repairing cutting-edge security systems for our Corporate Security Department. From access control systems to CCTV, fire alarms, and burglar alarms, you’ll bring expertise in state-of-the-art technologies while contributing to the safety and security of our company, owners, and their families.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys hands-on work, whether it’s cleaning camera lenses, testing hardware, or ensuring systems are functioning flawlessly. You’ll also have the opportunity to train our security officers, providing them with the knowledge to operate these systems effectively. Collaboration is key in this role as you’ll interact with operators in the Central Monitoring Station, offer technical advice to management, and oversee vendor installations and repairs. Your proactive approach will be valued as you tackle special projects and offer innovative solutions to enhance system performance.

What You’ll Need
- High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate and three years of experience installing and repairing alarm systems, closed circuit television systems and access control systems.
- Communicates effectively with all personnel.
- Skilled in effectively communicating both verbally and in writing.
- Required to stand for at least 12 hours per day with minimal breaks.
- Required to carry 30 pounds up and down a ladder.
- Required to work outside year-round, for at least 12 hours per day with minimal breaks.
- Candidate is required to have a valid driver’s license, a safe driving record and reliable vehicle (if applicable) at the time of hire. This position will undergo a motor vehicle check (MVR) to confirm a history of safe and responsible driving. If needed, candidate must obtain the appropriate state driver’s license based on the position’s location within 30 days of hire.
- Required to operate a company-owned vehicle safely.
- Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
