Join our dynamic team as an Instrumentation and Control Systems Technician, where you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the heart of our operations runs smoothly. We're looking for a curious, skilled individual ready to dive into the world of plant instrumentation and control systems with minimal supervision. If you're someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, loves tackling technical challenges, and has a knack for making things work better, we need you.
Your day-to-day will involve maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting all plant instrumentation and other vital control systems. You'll bring your foundational knowledge of programming, along with your sharp troubleshooting skills, to keep our processes running efficiently. Whether it's supporting operations and maintenance, replacing electrical components, or executing PLC code changes, your contribution will minimize downtime and drive our success.
We value cross-functional collaboration, so be ready to take on diverse assignments, from participating in the development of innovative ideas to supporting teams in building or improving our capital assets. Your technical problem-solving skills will be key in identifying improvements and ensuring the smooth execution of new product commercializations.
Work Schedule: Nights 6p - 6a, 2-2-3 Schedule
What You Will Need:

2 year technical degree in electrical technology plus 1 year of experience working with PLC controls, logic circuits, pneumatic and electrical equipment; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 3 years of experience working with PLC controls, logic circuits, pneumatic and electrical equipment.

Required to climb stairs and ladders; required to conduct work at heights.

Knowledgeable of Electrical Safety procedures.

May be required to work a rotating shift/schedule (e.g., day, swing, graveyard, 5x8, 4x10) as well as weekends and overtime.

Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.

Skilled in writing simple correspondence.

Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing using whole numbers.

Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

Compensation:
- Hiring Salary Range Posted: $31.80 - $42.97 /Per Hour
- Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
