Summary
As a Flavor Ingredient Technician, you will be under minimal supervision and expected to perform all of the duties and responsibilities required for maintaining flavor and ingredient inventories. This includes mixing and blending batches to fulfill obligations to internal customers and complying with all quality, personal safety, and organizational safety regulations.
Essential Functions
- Monitor current ingredient inventory stocking levels and provide information to Supply Chain for ordering ingredients.
- Support order fulfillment by mixing and blending alcoholic beverage batches. Coordinate with Cellar teams for pickup and transfers.
- Process payments in Ariba. Communicate with vendors regarding payment discrepancies and work closely with Sourcing team to resolve.
- Communicate all quality/ISO concerns to the supplier development department, QC and beverage making via electronic workflow.
- Monitor and report all ingredients/flavors approaching expiration (product integrity).
- Maintain inventory traceability records, to ensure COA in TraceGains.
- Coordinate with Supplier Quality to obtain appropriate incoming goods have appropriate information sourced, logged and approved.
- Conduct a full physical inventory of all ingredient SKU’s.
- Conduct training as needed for coworkers and internal customers.
- Perform housekeeping duties as needed, such as CIP, surface cleaning, scale calibration, pump cleaning, sweeping, trash disposal, and poly/tote washing.
- Troubleshoot customer issues/requests.
- Provide Safety Standards training to any/all personnel.
- Use of SAP Bookmarks module, monitors current ingredient inventory stocking levels and provides information to Supply Chain for ordering ingredients.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 5 years of ingredient inventory control, or beverage-making, experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- Required to work assigned shift, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Required to navigate ladders up to 20 feet high.
- Required to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Skilled in the use of a lift truck.
- Basic skills in the use of MS Word and Excel.
- Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
- Skilled in writing simple correspondence.
- Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing using whole numbers.
- Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

Compensation
Hiring Set Rate: $23.25
Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
