This position will be based in our Fort Lauderdale Florida office or our Modesto California office with an option for occasional telecommuting. You will be expected to live within a commutable distance

Join our team as a Finance Analyst, where you will play a pivotal role in researching and providing financial and business-related analyses to assess the impact of various projects, systems, and transactions. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive analyses in areas such as financial performance, expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, working capital, and investment. Your ability to prepare accurate forecasts and analyze trends in manufacturing, sales, finance, and general business conditions will be essential. You will frequently analyze both the full P&L and individual divisions to identify risks and provide variance explanations.

 

You will participate in producing monthly management reports, including profit and loss statements, promotional analysis, and overhead analysis. By reviewing departmental actual expenses versus budget and forecast, you will notify appropriate stakeholders of variances. Additionally, you will analyze customer, brand, and product profitability, providing crucial insights for strategic decision-making.

 

Your role will involve participating in the Annual Operating Planning process, preparing input templates for the sales and marketing departments, loading the budget into AO, and providing ongoing support to the broader team. You will also lead and participate in ad-hoc financial analysis projects, including pricing, transportation methods, new product development, and cost savings initiatives.

 

Acting as a liaison between Finance and Sales/Marketing, you will work to increase ownership and understanding of financial reporting. You will participate in creating programs to improve effectiveness and efficiency and conduct special financial and business-related studies as requested.

What You Will Need:

  • High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate.
  • Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of experience in accounting or finance reflecting increasing levels or responsibility; OR Bachelor’s degree plus 1 year of Gallo accounting or finance experience.
  • Experience with MS Excel at an intermediate level.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

 

What Will Set You Apart:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance plus 4 years experience in accounting or finance reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High School Diploma or State Issued Certificate plus 8 years of accounting or finance experience.
  • Experience reading, analyzing and interpreting general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
  • Experience writing reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
  • Experience effectively presenting information and responding to questions from groups of managers and customers.
  • Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions.
  • Experience interpreting an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and dealing with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Experience performing work that is varied and may be somewhat difficult in character, usually involving limited responsibility, requiring frequent evaluation, originality or ingenuity.
  • Knowledge of the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of this particular field of specialization.
  • Ability to speak fluently in Spanish

Compensation:

  • Hiring Salary Range Posted: $60,300 - $100,400
  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
