We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Warehouse Operations Coordinator to join our inclusive and diverse team. In this role, you will oversee and coordinate day-to-day work activities for the warehouse, providing essential support to Team Leaders across all departments and working closely with both internal and external customers. Your responsibilities will include dispatching daily delivery routes to union drivers and their helpers, resolving delivery and customer issues promptly, and working with on-site vendors and contractors. You will support the routing team during driver check-in, manage order-related activities, and maintain the security camera system. Additionally, you will audit timesheets for temporary workers, manage fleet maintenance, and ensure compliance with Winery insurance guidelines.

 

You will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining positive relationships with our sales force and various customers, providing them with order and inventory information and daily follow-ups. Your role includes ordering uniforms, submitting repair orders, and planning daily activities and resource requirements to support operations. You will provide direction and guidance to the workforce, initiate and manage short-term projects, and attend shift change meetings. You will be responsible for site access and gate controls for all stakeholders and participate in implementing and designing best business practices. Communication is key, and you will ensure that all team members are informed about activities, programs, and upcoming jobs.

You will use company resources efficiently, procure and receive supplies cost-effectively, and process sample requests submitted by the Sales Department. What You Will Need:

 

  • High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 3 years of experience in warehousing, manufacturing, customer service or material handling reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Good attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Experience with using a computer systems to enter and track customer orders.
  • Skilled in understanding instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.
  • Experience with clearly communicating requests and needs to management.
  • Skilled in maintaining a clean, safe and orderly work area.
  • Experience with using company resources in a cost-effective manner.
  • Experience with working in a team environment.
  • Required to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

 

What Will Set You Apart:

 

  • 4 years of experience in warehousing, manufacturing or material handling reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Certified to operate Class 4 and 5 Powered Industrial Trucks.
  • Skilled in reading, writing, and understanding English.

Compensation:

  • Hiring Salary Range Posted: $26.00 - $35.00 / Hourly.
  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
