This position will be based in Elizabeth, NJ and requires regular travel within your assigned territory. Occasional travel to company sites may be required as needed. Must live within geographic territory.

Join our dynamic team as a Luxury Wine and Spirits Sales Manager. In this role, you will lead luxury wine and spirits sales within the market and provide invaluable education and training to District Managers and Sales Representatives. Your expertise will be pivotal in achieving our organizational sales goals across fine wine accounts, fostering brand advocacy, and spearheading customer activation events, luncheons, and dinners.
We seek a driven individual who can establish and cultivate relationships with key luxury wine and spirits customers. Your ability to create engaging instructional materials and facilitate training will empower our sales force to excel in luxury wine and spirits courses. You will be instrumental in conceptualizing and executing special events, including charity functions and social gatherings, ensuring our brand is at the forefront of luxury.
Your role will also involve providing on-the-job training for new sales representatives, supporting Key Account Managers and District Sales Managers, and attending monthly district meetings. By offering coaching and development to sales representatives and managers, you will help them achieve their luxury wine and spirits goals. You will manage and distribute all promotional materials, handle special projects related to wine education, and ensure compliance with quality, environmental, and safety regulations.

What You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of wine sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 6 years of wine sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- 1 year management experience for a period of time that includes, but is not limited to, the Holiday periods.
- Candidate is required to have a valid driver’s license, a safe driving record and reliable vehicle (if applicable) at the time of hire. This position will undergo a motor vehicle check (MVR) to confirm a history of safe and responsible driving. If needed, candidate must obtain the appropriate state driver’s license based on the position’s location within 30 days of hire.
- No more than 2 moving violations within the past 3 years and no DUI/DWI convictions within the past 5 years.
- Strong verbal, written, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated skills leading, coaching and developing others.
- Strong time management, prioritization and project management skills.

- Required to attend special events on weekends.
- Required to be at least 21 years of age.
- Required to lift and move 45-50 pound cases of product.

What You Will Set You Apart:
- Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of wine sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 8 years of wine sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- Wine sales experience in independent liquor store reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- Passed or in preparation to take the Certified Specialist of Wine exam or Sommelier Exam.
Compensation:
- Hiring salary range posted: $83,200 - $124,800 / year
- Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
