Job Summary

Gallo Wine Sales of NJ is searching for a candidate to fill a position as a Human Resources Intern. In this position, you will contribute to project-based deliverables aligned to your field of study. The Human Resources Intern may also have exposure to several HR functional areas such as recruiting, onboarding, compensation, benefits, compliance and general administration. The goal is to provide the Intern with a diverse experience where their skills and knowledge of the Human Resources field are enhanced. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support HR team members through the lifecycle of recruiting and onboarding new hires.
  • Work on key HR project(s) with a summer-end deliverable.
  • Data entry and analysis of HR related information.
  • Assist with planning programs and employee events.
  • Support ad hoc and requested projects.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • Currently enrolled at a college or university and working towards a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Required to work independently and manage time commitments to meet established service goals.
  • Demonstrated communication skills; both oral and written.
  • Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications at a basic level.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Recent college graduate with a degree in a related field.
  • College senior or rising senior.
