This role blends strategic brand stewardship with hands-on leadership, ensuring our brandy portfolio thrives in a competitive and ever-evolving marketplace
You will leverage deep knowledge of business drivers, consumer trends, and channel insights to shape and execute brand strategies that meet ambitious growth and profit objectives. From overseeing the Integrated Marketing Planning Process to managing the creative and communication strategy, your work will bring our spirits stories to life across campaigns, media plans, and customer touchpoints. You will own the A&P budget, optimize channel effectiveness, and identify innovative ways to strengthen our position as a category leader
Collaboration is key — you’ll partner with winemaking teams to refine product attributes, work closely with agency partners to align on brand goals, and develop staff through mentoring and skill-building, ensuring they are equipped to succeed across Gallo’s business units. What You'll Need
- Master’s degree plus 6 years of communications, finance, marketing, military, operations, supply chain/supply planning, process development, new product development, project management, process engineering, or sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years of communications, finance, marketing, supply chain/supply planning, process development, new product development, project management, process engineering, or sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor’s degree plus 6 years of Gallo experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Master’s degree plus 4 years of Gallo experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High School Diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 12 years of communications, finance, marketing, military, operations, supply chain/supply planning, process development, new product development, project management, process engineering or sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- Experience effectively presenting information to top management, public groups and boards of directors.
- Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
- Required to spend 25% of time traveling in-market in order to conduct job duties.
- Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

How You'll Stand Out
- Master of Business Administration degree plus 9 years of Gallo brand marketing experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- CPG or Alcohol beverage brand marketing experience.
- Multiple Gallo marketing rotations.
- Prior supervisory/managerial experience.
- Brand Marketing experience.
- Luxury marketing experience.
- On Premise Spirits experience.
- Ambassador Management experience.
- Experiential marketing campaign development and execution experience.
- Tasting room management experience (wine or spirits).
- Direct to consumer sales experience (alcohol beverage or luxury consumer goods a plus).
- Experience training and developing junior level brand marketers in executing brand and organizational objectives.
- Experience managing business operations and leveraging basic finance and accounting principles.
- Skilled in reading, analyzing and interpreting common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents.
- Experience responding to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community.
- Experience writing speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
- Skilled in interpreting an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Experience performing work that is complex and varied in nature, requiring frequent evaluation, originality or ingenuity.
- Skilled in the use of MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and MS database at an intermediate level; IRI, Brio and Spectra at a basic level.

- Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. In addition to the salary, this position may be eligible for bonuses, incentive plans, or participate in tasting room tip pools, as applicable.
