A Taste of What You'll Do

We’re seeking a curious, collaborative Data Scientist to join our Sales Analytics team and turn complex data into clear, actionable insights. Working under general supervision on up to two concurrent initiatives, you’ll consolidate diverse, unstructured sources, build and validate models, run experiments (A/B testing), and translate results into business-ready solutions that drive measurable impact. You’ll partner with stakeholders across functions, elicit and refine requirements, and create compelling business cases that prioritize high-impact outcomes.

You are comfortable coding in Python and using libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib or Seaborn, writing SQL to harvest data, and building reproducible analysis pipelines. You’ll design models and simple linear optimization solutions with solvers (e.g., Gurobi, CPLEX), implement prototypes for production, and work with engineers to ensure quality and adoption. You’ll apply statistical rigor to identify causal relationships, validate assumptions, and evaluate solution effectiveness while documenting technical specs and communicating tradeoffs in plain language for nontechnical audiences.

We value intrapreneurship and ownership: think boldly, take appropriate risks, learn from mistakes, and hold yourself and teammates accountable. You’ll facilitate team meetings, mentor interns as needed, and help integrate new use cases using modern methods and tools. Timely work, attention to architecture and usability, and a focus on production-ready outcomes are essential.

GALLO is committed to equity and inclusion. We encourage candidates of all backgrounds and experiences to apply and will provide reasonable accommodations throughout the hiring process. If you’re passionate about using data to influence sales strategy and create business value, we’d like to hear from you.
