A Taste of What You'll Do
Under general supervision, you will provide hands-on mechanical maintenance and repair support across winery operations, helping ensure equipment reliability, product quality, and safe, efficient processes. In this role, you’ll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide range of production systems—from wine processing and filtration to packaging line equipment—while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
You’ll work with both large and small machinery, diagnosing issues, replacing or repairing defective components, and reassembling and testing equipment to meet specifications. Your ability to interpret technical manuals, drawings, and system data will support effective troubleshooting, while your experience with tools, fabrication, and basic welding will help you resolve issues quickly and safely.
This position offers the opportunity to collaborate cross-functionally and build strong working relationships while responding to both planned maintenance and urgent repair needs. You’ll also support facility upkeep, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure work is completed in compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. By maintaining accurate records and contributing ideas for process improvement, you’ll play a key role in strengthening operational performance and reliability.
What You'll Need
• High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 2 years of mechanical or automotive maintenance experience working on equipment or industrial motors and pumps reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Associates degree or 2-year Technical Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Maintenance and Repair plus 1 year of mechanical or automotive maintenance experience working on equipment or industrial motors and pumps reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
• Experience working in a manufacturing, production, industrial mechanical or automotive environment.
• Required to work assigned shift (day, swing, and graveyard) and weekends and overtime as needed.
• Required to conduct work at heights.
• Required to lift and carry equipment that weighs up-to 50 pounds.
• Required to work in a tight and confined space.
• Required to provide own basic hand tools.
• Skilled in calculating figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
• Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
• Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
How You'll Stand Out
• Industrial trade experience to include Refrigeration and HVAC.
• Experience working in a food and beverage manufacturing facility and maintaining large production equipment.
• Skilled in reading electrical schematics and possess PLC skills.
• Previous experience using SAP Fiori (Computer Maintenance Management System) and basic proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
