Operations Management Development Program 2024

The Operations Management Development Program is an exciting opportunity for high potential leaders seeking a dynamic career in Operations. As a participant, you will engage in various parts of the business, interact with management, develop innovative solutions to real business challenges, and gain a broader understanding of the company and our business. The program offers rotations in both leadership and technical roles, including opportunities to serve as an operations team leader, area harvest leader, and various technical support roles. Candidates in the program are typically expected to take on reasonable independent responsibility after one to two years of the rotational program.

Essential Functions

  • Gain knowledge of operating procedures, policies, and processes based on observation of other employees and/or completing hands-on work within various disciplines.
  • Administers programs, projects, and/or processes specific to operating unit served.
  • Monitors and ensures achievement of performance goals and objectives either directly or through subordinate staff.
  • Communicates and interprets administrative and operating policies and procedures.
  • Participates in the development of department procedures and performance measures.
  • Participates in projects that have short-term focus.
  • May prepare and coordinate special projects.
  • Communicates project status.
  • Identifies improvements or modification opportunities.
  • Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental, safety and regulatory considerations as it applies to the task at hand. If accountable for the work of others, responsible for ensuring their understanding and compliance.
  • Ensures GMP, safety and quality for all proposed modifications.
  • Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.

  • Hiring Salary Range Posted: $72,000 - $82,000 / year
  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate.
  • Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university and working towards a Bachelor’s or Masters degree Supply Chain, Business Management, Operations Management, Engineering, Engineering Management; OR possess a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, Operations Management, Engineering or Engineering Management; OR a Bachelor’s degree plus a manufacturing internship.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays when necessary
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior internship experience.
  • Senior Class standing at an accredited college or university working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering or Engineering Management.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments.
