Compensation
- Hiring Salary Range Posted: $29.82 - $40.24
- $2,500 Bonus Potential
- Shift Differentials Offered!
- Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
Shifts Available: 3:15pm-11:30pm (Monday-Friday)
As an Maintenance Tech, you will work under general supervision to identify, diagnose and repair various mechanical devices for Winery Operations. This position adheres to all safety procedures, supports quality and GMP standards.
What You Will Do
Diagnose, Repair and Preventative Maintenance:
- Lead machinery trouble-shooting and document any repairs.
- Reassemble equipment and test for conformance to pre-determined specifications.
- Repair malfunctioning equipment, large and small.
- Utilize technical documents to trouble-shoot, repair and maintain.
- Operate machining tools, drill presses; perform welding operations in a proficient manner.
- Preventative Maintenance, alarm troubleshooting, tool maintenance
Projects, Teamwork, Safety, Data Management:
- Must maintain satisfactory attendance and consistently report to work on time.
- Must demonstrate situational awareness and sense of urgency.
- Basic knowledge of data entry.
- Maintain cross-functional relationship.
- Focus on quality and continuous improvement.
- Interact with vendor contractors for requests for pricing and quality of work.
- Deliver training when necessary.
- Adhere to all shop safety and house-keeping protocols, lead by example.
What You Need
- High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 5 years of mechanical or automotive maintenance experience working on equipment or industrial motors and pumps reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Associates degree or 2-year Technical Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Maintenance and Repair plus 3 years of mechanical or automotive maintenance experience working on equipment or industrial motors and pumps reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- Experience working in a manufacturing, production, industrial mechanical or automotive environment.
- Required to work assigned shift (day, swing, and graveyard) and weekends and overtime as needed.
- Candidates for this position must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record. Required to
- obtain a driver’s license or appropriate state driver’s license within 30 days of hire.
- Required to conduct work at heights.
- Required to lift and carry tools and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Required to work in a tight and confined space.
- Required to provide own basic hand tools.
- Experienced in reading and comprehending simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
- Experienced in writing simple correspondence and procedures.
- Skilled in the use of MS Word, MS Outlook and MS Excel at a basic level.
- Skilled in calculating figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and
- volume.
