A Taste of What You'll Do

Are you passionate about beer, culture, and community? Gallo is seeking a dynamic Field Brand Manager for Montucky Cold Snacks to join our team and help us build brand advocacy through regional in-culture events and partnerships. In this role, you will develop and execute regional marketing strategies that leverage events, artists, and influencers to enhance local and regional awareness and affinity for Montucky Cold Snacks. You will work closely with the Montucky Brand Lead, sales teams, and key stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives that align with our national strategies and objectives.

 

As a Field Brand Manager, you will be the face of Montucky Cold Snacks in your region, managing relationships with on-premise accounts and strategic partners to foster brand awareness within the community. You will identify and collaborate with regional event organizers to create and support events that align with our brand pillars of ski, music, and outdoor active lifestyle. Your responsibilities will include managing activation budgets, gathering real-time content for social media, and finding synergies with local charities and organizations.

 

We are looking for someone who exhibits intrapreneurship and ownership behaviors, thinking boldly, taking appropriate risks, and driving candid discussions. You will be expected to travel out of your territory for priority brand activations and events, working a flexible schedule that includes nights and weekends to ensure optimal execution of promotions. Your role will also involve presenting brand information and sales initiatives to distributor leadership, maintaining satisfactory attendance, and ensuring compliance with quality, environmental, and safety regulations.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of Gallo or partner distributor sales, marketing, hospitality, or public relations experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of CPG sales or marketing experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High school diploma or state-issued equivalency certificate plus 6 years of Gallo or partner distributor sales, marketing, hospitality or public relations experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility. 
  • Candidate is required to have a valid driver’s license, a safe driving record and reliable vehicle (if applicable) at the time of hire. This position will undergo a motor vehicle check (MVR) to confirm a history of safe and responsible driving. If needed, candidate must obtain the appropriate state driver’s license based on the position’s location within 30 days of hire.
  • Required to travel up to 20% of the time in order to conduct job duties. 
  • Required to travel by air, car, and or train in the course of business. 
  • Required to lift and move product weighing up to 40 lbs. 
  • Required to be at least 21 years of age or older. 
  • Required to employ an alternative work schedule to include weekends and evenings. 
  • Required to obtain a pouring license as required by state/locally. 
  • Experience managing a budget. 
  • Experience partnering with agencies and vendors to execute events. 
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
     

How You'll Stand Out

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of Gallo or partner distributor sales or marketing experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility. 
  • Experience in the Spirits or Beer industry. 
  • Experience executing with event activations. 
  • Gallo Winery or Gallo partner distributor sales district manager experience. 
  • Gallo distributor experience during the holiday selling season. 
  • Experience selling or marketing to a target demographic.
